Title:

A Research Study of Attitude of TGT Teachers of Ambala towards Co-operative Teaching

Abstract

Co-operative Teaching is that in which  general educators and special educators teach together in the general classroom. It helps the special educators know the context of the regular classroom better. The classroom is composed of students with and without disabilities. Special Educator comes out of his  separate classroom to teach in the regular class setting. In addition to promoting the notion of mutuality and   reciprocity, one of the advantages that proponent the notions of this model point out is that it helps the special educator know the everyday curricular demands faced by the students with disabilities. This form of co-operative teaching is popular at primary & secondary level because it is difficult for special educators to have expertise in all content areas. Both educators jointly plan and teach all content to all students, taking turns being responsible for different aspects of the curriculum. This  paper attracts teachers towards co-operative teaching which can change the outlook of disabled and other children. it is primary need of modern society.
